I know someone mentioned it before, but they have story time, books for the kiddos and -/DVD's you can check out for FREE! our library even has crafts and PLAYS!! and who cares if the -/DVD's are old the kiddos won't know the difference and best of all no commercials that get your asking for everything! maybe you could even offer to do a sing along mommy me at the library! and then you could branch out have classes. it's also good to meet other moms that are having the same issues know that you are not alone! Babysitting I get that the neighborhood isn't great, but do your neighbors take their to daycare??? maybe you could pass out fliers to your neighbors to watch their??? maybe even pick up groceries/cook for working neighbors??? you could make double recipes split w/neighbors so it would be as much work??? Farmers Mkt the music playing idea maybe you could sell something there? especially if SO friends are playing music. liked the ideas about homemade soap, maybe herbs/flowers in cute little pots? clothes (I ironed on cute things on oneies hats for my sister-in-law's twin boys they came out really cute!) girly things like tutus/flower crowns/wands???
